Biography

She has been working at the Institute of Archeology in Prague since 1986. She focuses in particular on the research of early medieval cemeteries, jewellery and glass production. She participates in rescue excavation at the important Přemyslov stronghold Levý Hradec and in its hinterland. She teaches the course Archeology of the Middle Ages and Modern Ages 1 at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. She is the coordinator of the Archaeometry course at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague.
