Biography
He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Liberec. Since 2000, he has been working at the Institute of Archaeology of the AS CR in Prague, where he studies blacksmithing traditions and their manifestations in material culture, especially in the Middle Ages. He specialises in metallographic and radiographic examinations of archaeological iron objects.
