Biography
He studied biology at the Faculty of Biology of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. He is currently studying for his PhD at the Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Arts, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. He is mainly interested in the influence of man on the development of vegetation in the Holocene, the development of agriculture and the import of plant commodities and the introduction of plants in the past, furthermore, reconstruction of forest vegetation using anthracological data (charcoal) from archaeological sites.
