Biography

I’m an archaeologist studying human-environment interactions in the past. My work focuses on the relationship between major social and economic transformations, changes in land use and climate. I often use large-scale archaeological databases and modelling approaches and combine my result with quantified outcomes of other disciplines, mostly palaeoecology. My second area of interest covers social archaeology of the European Neolithic and Bronze Age.
