Biography:
Geophysicist dealing with the application of geophysical methods in archaeology and the combination with various non-destructive and destructive archaeological methods. He studied Applied Geophysics at the Faculty of Science and also Prehistoric and Early Medieval Archeology at the University of Prague. He led 5 archaeogeophysical projects, was a member of 14 international projects and approx. 20 domestic projects, is the author and co-author of 2 monographs, approx. 25 chapters in monographs and approx. 310 professional articles, regularly teaches at the Department of Archeology of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, and irregularly lectures at universities in Prague, Brno, České Budějovice or Hradec Králové.
