Workshop | Stätten der NS-Zwangsarbeit in Nordböhmen und Sachsen

The Institute of Archaeology of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague, in collaboration with other institutions, is organizing a networking event dedicated to sites of forced labor in Saxony and neighboring regions—primarily in northern and northwestern Bohemia. The one-day workshop will take place on 5 October at the Faculty of Philosophy, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.

The event is regularly attended by Saxon researchers, staff from regional agencies, and civil society activists. Since this is the first time the event is being held in the Czech Republic, their Czech counterparts will also be joining this year.

The meeting is supported by the Strategy AV 21 program “Resilient Society for the 21st Century”.
